Research

Since finding out that I am pregnant with a baby boy on Monday, I have been freaking out a little bit. Not about having a boy but once again about starting ALL the way over with vaccinations..... if you disagreed with my last post on vaccinations then please just stop reading.... my mind is made up and you are not going to change my mind. I will not vaccinate my child the way some Dr. tells me to and you go right ahead and do whatever you Dr. advises you to do!

Studies have shown that Autism runs in boys more than girls, which means I will need to be even more careful and study even more about vaccinations this go around. I am praying about what kind of vaccination schedule is safe for my child. I do not believe in not vaccinating at all but I do believe in being cautious, and researching something never hurt anyone. I don't know if I am embarrassed to say this or not but I am thinking about going and picking up Jenny McCarthy's book on autism. If you have not heard her story I recommend you looking her up. Her son began suffering from autism after his MMR shot (which Aubrey still has not had) her Dr. ignored her questions and she took matters into her own hands. She does not say that her son is healed but she does say that he is recovering and has NO signs of autism at this time in his life. I am going to pick her book up this week I will keep everyone updated as I read.

All I ask is that if you have a young child or if you are expecting a child just do your research. Don't just believe what your pediatrician tells you.... in most cases they mean well but when it comes to vaccinations I truly believe it has been so etched in their brain that children HAVE to be vaccinated by a certain age that they are not hearing the screams of thousands of mom's and dad's begging for a different way. This is a paragraph from a website I was reading tonight.... I think I posted this on my last blog about vaccinations but I just can't get over how many shots Dr's are giving children under the age of two!

A 15-member Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices at the CDC decides which vaccines should be on the Childhood Immunization Schedule. It calls for one vaccine, against hepatitis B, to be given on the day of birth; 7 vaccines at two months; 6 more (including booster shots) at four months; and as many as 8 vaccines on the six month well-baby visit. Before a child reaches the age of two he or she will have received 32 vaccinations on this schedule, including four doses each of vaccines for Hemophilus influenzae type b infections, diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis – all of them given during the first 12 months of life. Seven vaccines injected into a 13 lb. two-month old infant are equivalent to 70 doses in a 130 lb. adult.

Why does a child have to have the hepatitis B shot at birth???? I understand if the mother has hepatitis B but for those of us who do not, that is just ridiculous for that precious baby to be born into the world and immediately be stuck with a stupid vaccination! 32 Vaccinations by the age of two.... are you kidding me!!!! I will never forget holding Aubrey down at her 2 month check up and two nurses sticking her like a pin cushion with five shots. Two of the vaccinations were doubled up with something else so she received 7 vaccinations in her little body at 8 weeks old.... if only I knew then what I know now. My little boy will NOT be a part of these pharmaceutical companies making millions off of innocent children who are paying the price.

I am officially on my soapbox and I need to step down before I offend someone. :) There is more to come though so if you don't like it then don't read it :)

Jenifer

with you Jen - all the way.

It still amazes me that when you all were little you had about a total of 10 before school age. What in the world do they need so many more now for????

We are with you.
Love,
MOM

Jenifer,
I already emailed your mom about a video by Dr. Jay Gordon, a pediatrician, that deals with vaccinations. His website is drjaygordon.com. Another website that has some interesting info is thedoctorwithin.com. I am glad that you are researching this for yourself instead of letting the medical establishment tell you what is best for your children. Obviously, there are some doctors that don't agree with the standard schedule of vaccinations. May God clearly reveal His plans to you and Andy concerning this very important issue!

Jenifer,

Praise God for the mothers that war for their children. I too decided Not to vaccinate my boy. He is a healthy 11 month old. I too spent over 400 hours of research on this issue before he was even born. I continue to study and have found some incredible things out.

1. The reason boys are stricken with Autism and SIDS at a much higher rate than girls has to do with the Testosterone in their wonderful bodies. Apparently the testosterone acts as a catalyst to the binding of the Thimerosal and pushes it deeper into the brain!
But the real problem is overriding the IgA Mucosa in our body by getting injections.

Check out this 2.5 hour video that will blow your mind and re confirm your decision to protect your child. This video sticks in the beginning, simply move the bar to the right some.

2. There is proof that the uptake of a virus in a normal exposure ( via mouth or nose) stimulates the IgA Mucosa in the body to build a defense against the virus invaders. Thus producing a natural immunity to the invader. When you bypass this w/ injections, you attack the immune system in a way God never intended. Thus causing an autoimmune response that is damaging the body.

Dr. Rebecca Carley has a powerful viewpoint on this stand and has come under medical attack. I believe her and her research

stick with it girl!
when i walked in the drs. office, and had not done but a couple of vac. they sat me down and told me that it had to be done. being young, i fell for it all. my 6 month little girl had 5 vac. the other day. she is doing well, but i dont see the point in them. i wanted to take it slow and they wouldnt do it. so i fell in their hole of "everyone is doing it" and where is your proof that something bad will happen to her? i didnt have any answers.
one thing that i did stick my foot down on is the flu shot. they wanted to give that to her on top of 5 vac. and i said no. i dont like it. the 2 times that i have got it, i got the flu. so no! how do you feel about the flu shot? and do you have any good information i can bring back to her drs. he will hound me until i give a "good" reason. :(
good luck! ash.

Just saw Ashley's post too and have to say this:
Ashley please remember this is YOUR child and your doctor cannot force you to do something you don't want to do.
We don't visit the doctor often, but when we do I just say, "there will be no discussion on vaccinating. I have my reasons and I don't have to share them with you. Respect me as this child's mother."
Be prepared to leave and maybe even have to find a different doctor. If it is for the sake of your child, it is okay.
